The story of Whippersnapper begins with an 11-year-old boy learning to mow the neighbor's yard in the hot summer. Through that experience, David Hintze became thoroughly fascinated by making lawns beautiful. He grew his business from 1 neighbor to 3, pushing a small trailer down the street to their houses. With the help of his parents, he expanded to the broader neighborhood. At 16, David maintained 17 lawns and was able to buy out a friend’s company( more than doubling his operation). From that point, he was blessed with more and more work. At 18, he took Whippersnapper Lawn Care from just maintaining residential clients to also operating on commercial accounts. We now operate all across Fort Worth and its suburbs, maintaining a broad variety of residential and commercial properties.

Some companies operate merely to make a profit; that is not the case with Whippersnapper. We believe that taking dominion over landscapes is a noble profession. We seek to train young men to become better men through their work in the field.
